For nearly 20 years, students who work or have other commitments during the day have counted on the UW Evening Degree Program to help them complete their bachelor's degree. You can, too! Take a look at the advantages the program offers:
A UW Degree
Flexible and Convenient
A UW degree can open doors throughout your professional life. Academically, the only differences between the day and evening programs are the availability of majors and the times classes meet. In fact, most of our instructors teach the same classes during the day. So you can be sure your evening program meets the same high standard for quality as the day program.
Classes meet in the evenings, so you can build a schedule that fits your life. Study part-time or full-time. Classes are located in one section of the UW campus, close to easy parking. You can also mix some online learning courses into your degree plan for added flexibility.
Direct Placement in Some Majors
Smaller classes mean you have more opportunities to interact with instructors and fellow students. You'll experience a more personal approach to learning.
You'll gain direct placement in the Humanities or Social Sciences major with no prerequisites. For most majors, with a little planning, you can fulfill prerequisites at your community college or via UW Online Learning.
Space is Available
The admission process for the Evening Degree Program is separate from the day program. Contact our advisers to learn more about admission qualifications.
You'll have access to an amazing array of services and resources at the UW, from academic advising to career counseling to recreational sports.
