Major Requirements

The major requires a minimum of 60 credits as specified below and a minimum GPA of 2.25:

• Not more than 15 credits in 200-level courses*
• At least 45 credits of 300- to 400-level courses
• A minimum of 15 credits of 400-level courses

* Since most students entering an Evening Degree Program will have completed two years of lower-division college work, many will have completed some survey courses in the humanities (e.g. ENGL 200, CLIT 200, SPCMU 220). Students may apply 15 credits of such coursework to the major.
